[ Jane Lee 2021-01-08 ]

Nu Eyne will participate in the Seoul Pavilion in CES 2021, the world's largest technology exhibition, to showcase Cellena, its electronic medicine-based wearable device for eye health.

Nu Eyne is a medical technology R&D company that treats chronic diseases through electronic medicine technology. Over the past three years, it has received an investment of 10 billion won, which was used in cell and animal experiments, and clinical trials.

The company staff said, "The company is working with various research institutes, universities, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical personnel. We are preparing to launch healthcare devices in January of this year and medical devices in April. Cellena, which is the current main product, is a healthcare device for eye health management, and it is convenient to use. We have verified the safety and efficacy through cell and animal experiments and clinical trials, and our neurological approach provides solutions for dry eye syndrome and fatigue."

He then said, "We are developing a technology that electrically mimics signals that communicate between various parts of our body, so that nerves work properly, damaged tissues are regenerated, and cancer cell proliferation is suppressed. The VR goggles-type product, which is currently ready for mass production, stimulates the cornea and retina by wearing it for 30 minutes, and we are expecting to see effect in treating dry eye syndrome and glaucoma."

He added, "We would like to partner with companies located in Canada, US, UK, EU, and South America. We participated in CES to promote new eye health care devices and migraine treatment devices. We will share updates on conducting clinical trials for various diseases such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, ADHD, and tinnitus, and plan to announce the results of recent cell and animal experiments. We will also present the development of a new anticancer treatment protocol that will be prepared."

Continuing from last year, Seoul Metropolitan City has set up Seoul Pavilion in CES 2021 this year as well. It will be promoting 15 outstanding companies selected in the three areas of △Transportation·Environment, △Safety·Welfare, and △Economy·Living. These companies have been selected through the evaluation of their abilities to enter the overseas market, and they will be provided with the expenses to participate in the CES online exhibition, and also with the opportunity to participate in the first Live CES Seoul event held by the global investor Plug-and-Play.
