K-Classic fever, just as hot as K-Pop fever, is sweeping the world.

Koreans have been sweeping the top placements in classical music competitions around the world, placing in 96 out of 125. This is truly an overwhelming number, better results than women's archery or women's golf tournaments.

Some competition hosts have even mentioned limiting the entrance of Koreans, worried about the results heavily being awarded to Koreans.

What is the secret to K-Classic fever, following the footsteps of K-Pop?

According to a classical performance agency, brilliant talent, passion for education, and elite education system are to take the credit. The traits that are common in areas that Korea has distinguished itself internationally.

Elite education system typically achieved through private tutoring is now becoming more accessible to wider audiences through virtual reality contents.

Studio VR, Inc. (CEO Hyeon-cheol Pak) is making the performance of top Korean classical musicians available through VR. VR technology can display the musicians' key press, view from the blind spot, and even the sound of their breath that are hard to experience even with a $100 ticket. This is being used as educational material for students or enjoyed by classical music lovers.

Studio VR representative said, "You can enjoy the performance up close and in more detail than live performances, at the quality hard to get even with a $100 ticket, through VR technology. As the classical music market is being diminished day by day, we needed a new breakthrough. We are paving a new road with VR contents that combine culture with technology. We would love your support."

They are also being gaining attention for the upcoming global launch of CONDUCT VR (Orchestra conductor experience content) that is timed with the Oculus Quest 2 release.
