17th Green Energy Expo began on July 15 in
In this show which opens from July 15 to
17, 140 companies from 20 countries participated in 500 booth scale. Innovative
technologies such as PV-related materials, parts, cells and module
manufacturing and inspection equipment as well as ESS, batteries, inverters,
and control devices are displayed.
This exhibition serves as an important
marketing channel for domestic companies and institutions in that it can
quickly and accurately check the domestic and foreign renewable energy industry
and market ecosystem. In Korea, PV-related companies like Hyundai Energy
Solutions, Shinsung E&G, Haezoom, Solar Play, Solar Connect, Dass Tech, Hex
Power, DNE Solar, and Duksan Cotran and organizations like KEPCO, KOGAS, KOEN,
and EWP participated in the show.
Hyundai Energy Solution, a leading company
in the domestic high-power, high-reliability PV products, introduced the newly
launched double-sided power module products and various PV solutions at the
show. Shinsung E&G, the first-gen PV company with a GW-class production
line, will be focusing on its one-stop solution business that covers from
manufacturing solar cells and PV module to business development, construction,
and management operations.
The first timer in the show Solar Play will be introducing its one-stop energy financial investment consulting and outstanding technology provided as an integrated solution from planning, development, implementation, construction and maintenance of solar power plants. Also, Solar Connect will focus on displaying profit maximization project for power plant owners and power plant integrated management service business for construction companies.
An official from EXCO said, "As the core of the "Korean version of Green New Deal' in which the energy system will shift from carbon-based economic system to renewable energy, the expectations from the relevant companies are high. We have gathered companies that will display the products, technologies, and solutions that correspond to green new deal, so come and check out the new stage and trend of green new deal."
Green Energy Expo 2020 will be offering both online and offline sessions. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, strict measures such as checking temperatures, social distancing, and path identification will be taken, thoroughly preparing for safe event.
