Sungshin Women's University Startup Support Group participated in the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition CES 2020 held in Las Vegas January 7 to 10.

A9, the startup company that participated with the support from Sungshin Women's University Startup Support Group, attracted the attention of many media and buyers by introducing NB-IoT solution for single-person households and lonely death management.

Sungshin Women's University Startup Support Group consists of a startup education team, startup business support team, investment support team, and startup incubator center. It operates a systematic startup support program that includes all stages of startup, including the discovery and training of founders, preparation for startup and startup support and fostering.

An official from the startup support group said, "You can't succeed with just a great idea, and it's not easy to participate in CES even if your company is receiving attention. That is why we want to continue to create opportunities to promote companies with great ideas and potential in CES."

Sungshin Women's Startup Support Group discovered 185 promising startups for four years through the management of smart creative site in 2013 and the customized business support project in 2015. This lead to about 13.9 billion won worth of revenue from the startups it fostered. Based on this, it was selected as a leading university in startup and promoted to startup support group in 2017.
