"Commercialization of the world's first electric vehicle robot charging system"
"80% market share in domestic electric bus charger"
"Doosan delivers Hyundai Wia's machine tool control system"
Moderntec (CEO Kim Seong-Du) participated
in the world's largest technology exhibition CES 2020 opening in Las Vegas on
Jan. 7-10 and displayed world's first electric vehicle charging robot system in
MIK INNOVATION HOT SPOT located in Eureka Park.
This product is the world's first
intelligent EV charging system and can perform unmanned charging of up to 50
electric vehicles with just one robot by changing the charging type and driving
With this, it is possible to achieve the
maximum effect with minimum investment cost, and it can protect the user's
safety from the high capacity and high voltage charger.
Moderntec is a company with excellent
technology that supplies machine tool control systems to Doosan and Hyundai
Wia, and occupies 80% of the market share in the domestic electric bus charging
market that requires the most difficulty.
In the electric bus charging market, the
company makes the bidding directly instead of the public bidding. So, the
technology, quality, and safety must be met along with price competitiveness.
Moreover, because of the high capacity output, the safety of the spark is the
first priority when power is on and off.
In addition, the company owns a world
patent technology with its universal charging device that changes charging
method according to the change of situations. During the day, intensive
charging method is used since there is only 15 minutes of standby time.
However, at night, dispersed charging method is used since multiple vehicles
can be charged at once.
CEO Kim at CES 2020 said, "There were
constructive meetings with charger platform operators in the US market, and we
confirmed that our patents and technologies in the field of electric vehicle
robot charging are the highest in terms of efficiency. In this show, we have
gained the confidence to become no. 1 in price, performance, quality, and all
