Deepmedi (CEO Lee Gwang-jin) participated in the world's largest technology exhibition CES 2020 opening in Las Vegas on Jan. 7-10 and displayed its health information measuring applications in CES startup zone Eureka Park MIK INNOVATION HOT SPOT with the support from Gwangju University Startup Support Group.
Deepmedi is a company that develops the technology of using smartphone cameras for measuring various health information, including blood pressure and heart rate. And, these technologies are provided in the form of AP to companies that want healthcare solutions such as insurance companies.
Deepmedi's application measures the user's heart rate and blood flow by placing a finger on the camera or taking a photo of the face with the front camera. The image processed by the smartphone is converted into a signal and information is extracted from the signal. This provides a healthcare solution by estimating blood pressure, stress index, breathing rate and heart rate.
It can be used with only with smartphones,
so there is no financial burden and it is easy to use. Since there is no
additional equipment, it is possible to measure blood pressure anywhere and
anytime because it can be measured in 10 seconds without being restricted by
time and place.
The official said, "With the rise of digital healthcare these days, more companies are looking for such a healthcare solution. In this regard, Deepmedi is working to reduce development time and manpower. We will work to make our solutions play a key role in expanding the business of healthcare companies."
