Cubroid introduced its coding block Cubroid at Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX 2019) which runs Oct. 6-10 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Coding block Cubroid is receiving great attention in the kids market with its lego-like blocks and intuitive and easy coding platform. It is being sold in over 40 countries.
It has even been spotlighted in global trade shows like MWC 2019 and IFA 2019, and in Korea, it is being sold with its market name Lalacube in kindergartens, elementary schools and after-school classes.
It has newly launched its AI coding robot ARTIBO. It can recognize face, image, text and colors, and can even detect gender and approximate age after recognizing faces.
Commands can be given with the microphone, and TTS (Text to Speech) enables conversation with it.
CEO Shin Jae-kwang said, "We have begun the entering of the Dubai market with the contract here. Our Cubroid kit has been sold out in IFA 2019 and GITEX 2019, proving the potential of our product. We are so honored to receive so much attention."
In its 39th year, GITEX 2019 was attended by more than 4,500 companies from 140 countries, and it is the major ICT exhibition in the Middle East and Africa sought by 100,000 overseas buyers.
A wide range of products and technologies from home appliances to telecommunications equipment, IT, and Industry 4.0 are displayed. Also, GITEX Future Stars, with more than 750 startups, 400 large investors and global accelerators, also took place.
