WeAreFriends will introduce its app to match foreigners with same interests TriPriend with the support from Soongsil University Startup Support Group at Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) held at the Dubai World Trade Center on Oct. 6 to 10.
There are already many apps that match foreigners. But, the intention is often distorted to dating purposes and there are dangers of accidents.
To solve this problem, TriPriend presented the diverse interests from 60 types in the aspects of cultural activities, sports, leisure and lifestyle, matching only the users with the same interests. So, the users can make foreigner friends they like by choosing the interests.
Also, by using the self-introduction file made with Q&A, photos and voices, the users can build trust, and GPS-based guarantee money is paid to prevent no-show. By using the GPS technology, the location of the users can be identified, and when the person is within 100 m radius of the place of meeting, the prepaid guarantee money is returned.
