Koryo Life Science introduced its eco-friendly cooking foil that contains charcoal in the 11th MIK (Made in Korea) 2019 Conference & Networking Season I held at Grand Ballroom, EL Tower in Yangjae-dong on July 18.
When cooking with this product, meat and fish do not burn, and the smell and smoke are also reduced.
It is manufactured by using the traditional Korean paper and charcoal pad, so it is eco-friendly and adds the taste of charcoal to the food.
On top of this, aluminum foil cannot be used in microwaves because sparks occur from it and can lead to fire. But, this product is free from this problem, and makes meat taste better by preserving the juice.
The staff from this company said, "Aluminum foil can emit carcinogen and dementia-inducing substance, and it is already banned in Europe." Also, he added, "We would like to promote our traditional product like how K-pop culture is spreading throughout the world."
