LINAK Korea introduced its highly-advanced hospital bed at the 35th International Medical Equipment & Hospital Equipment Exhibition (KIMES 2019) that runs Mar. 14-17 in COEX.

LINAK specializes in electric linear actuators that can be applied in industrial automation fields from medical equipment to agricultural machinery, household furniture, and office furniture.

In this show, the company received attention by showing a solution that can easily manipulate the advanced functions of the modern hospital bed with a single control device.

First, to solve the inconvenience and errors caused by connecting a large number of outlets directly, the company made micro-fit plugs attached to its own driver box load cell, and the installation has become much easier.

Also, the touch screen control device ACT (Attendant Control Touch) can control the back support panel and the basic bed control, and it is compatible with the lock key for nurses.

Other features include patient weight measurement, automatic alarm for Out Of Bed (OOB), automatic lighting control, WET detection, and bedside rail (BSR).

KIMES is Korea's largest medical equipment and hospital facility show that has been steadily growing since the first show in 1980 with the development of Korean medical industry. Currently, Korea's medical industry has transformed into a technology-intensive, high-tech industry with medical information system, ultrasound scanners, medical imaging equipment, robotic medical care, AI, and rehabilitation medicine. KIMES has become a world-class medical show as it contributed to the advancement of Korean medical industry. The exhibitors will showcase new technologies and new products in the medical industry like advanced hospital facilities, medical information systems integrated with IT technology, and automobile industry for quick patient transportation.
