Huwellex introduced its extracorporeal shock wave therapy and medical laser irradiation devices at the 35th International Medical Equipment & Hospital Equipment Exhibition (KIMES 2019) that runs Mar. 14-17 in COEX.
Founded in 1995, the company focuses on musculoskeletal pain treatment devices. It supplies its products to about 700 hospitals and is cooperating with local agencies located nationwide.
Major products include the extracorporeal shock wave therapy device SWISS DolorClast, medical laser irradiation device K-Laser Cube, medical cold room device CRYO-T2, and shockwave crusher LithClast in the Urology field.
The types of Swiss EMS's extracorporeal shock wave therapy device are the radial type Swiss DolorClast Master and the concentrated type Swiss PiezoClast. There are also the types that has both radial and concentrated feature called Swiss DuoClast and the entry-level product Swiss DolorClast Smart.
Extracorporeal shock wave therapy is a treatment that relieves pain by helping to regenerate the peripheral blood vessels and slowing the activity of nerve cells by applying shock wave energy to the areas of pain. Nowadays, it is widely used in orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation medicine, neurosurgery, and anesthesiology.
K-Laser Cube is a high-power laser from Italy irradiated at 4 wavelengths 660nm, 800nm, 905nm, and 970nm. It is an effective treatment device by being able to select patient's body shape, treatment site, skin color, and pain level, and it can be used diversely for outpatient/inpatient/surgery patients. In addition, the use of extracorporeal shock wave therapy and medical low-temperature treatment is more effective in relieving pain and is used in many hospitals in parallel.
CRYO-T Elephant from Poland, is a product that treats pain and swelling by rapidly cooling the skin temperature by spraying medical nitrogen at -150 ℃ to the affected area. It has the advantage of being able to treat according to each part and condition by controlling the spraying amount in stage 1 to 5, having short treatment time (about 3 minutes) and danger prevention temperature sensor, and no noise during spraying.
