[KIMES 2019] Man&Tel showcases rehabilitation medical device

Man&Tel introduced its advanced technology training equipment and rehabilitation medical device at the 35th International Medical Equipment & Hospital Equipment Exhibition (KIMES 2019) that runs Mar. 14-17 in COEX.

Man&Tel has rehabilitation total system and program that can rehabilitate sequentially according to the patient's condition. It holds 13 medical-related patents, and several products have completed CE and FDA registration. In 2013, it has been certified as a new health technology (NET). As of 2019, it has exported training equipment to 51 countries and medical device to 11 countries.

Sliding Balance Trainer from Man&Tel is a manual function recovery instrument which the patient can strengthen the muscles on the lower body and improve vertical balance by sliding his/her body up and down as he/she safely lies on the bed and repeats leg bending and stretching.

Trunk Stability Rehabilitation Robot Trainer can be used to stabilize the body through a game using a weight sensor attached to a chair and left and right buttons in sitting position. It is a robotic rehabilitation medical device that can help strengthen the lower body by training the patient to stand up on the foot sensor. Both trunk stabilization and lower body muscle strengthening can be done with fun by playing games. The current status of the body can be found out with accumulated data.

With Dream's Bike, riders can pedal through the streets of memories in virtual reality. By linking to Google, real-time location can be selected, and the riders can find the place of memory in Korea or abroad and then ride the bike. It is helpful for improving memory and preventing or delaying dementia.

KIMES is Korea's largest medical equipment and hospital facility show that has been steadily growing since the first show in 1980 with the development of Korean medical industry. Currently, Korea's medical industry has transformed into a technology-intensive, high-tech industry with medical information system, ultrasound scanners, medical imaging equipment, robotic medical care, AI, and rehabilitation medicine. KIMES has become a world-class medical show as it contributed to the advancement of Korean medical industry. The exhibitors will showcase new technologies and new products in the medical industry like advanced hospital facilities, medical information systems integrated with IT technology, and automobile industry for quick patient transportation.
