Nemoplan showcases 'Nahome Driver' a drive kit assisted manual wheelchair at the MIK 2018 Conference & Networking Party last 23rd of August in Yangjae the K Hotel.
Nahome Driver, introduced at the conference, takes a normal manual wheelchair and conveniently changes it to an electric wheelchair. This method takes the preexisting manual wheelchair and equips it with the driving kit making it electronic, and the components include: joystick module, drive module, control board module and battery packs.
The item is specially designed so that the battery pack can be detached and reattached so that it can be taken on board in an airplane. Furthermore, even for users who are physically challenged with a slight maneuver of the joystick, the users can move around safely and comfortably.
The 'Nahome Drive' a drive kit that assists a manual wheelchair created by Nemoplan can easily antiquate the preexisting 120kg automatic wheelchairs with its user-friendly advantage. The previous integral model was not able to go on board an aircraft because of the battery, however, that problem was fixed and through several test and quality checks the best quality and most reasonable price is boasted by the product.
The officials of Nemoplan explained that "Nahome Driver was designed by taking into account of those who are challenged so that they can conveniently use the kit." "Our goal was to maximize the happiness of users by making a product where disabled people can operate the kit without anybodies help."
Furthermore, "In November we are planning on getting the product certified in Korea as well as Europe, and so we hope that it would be freely and widely used."
