This company joined a food waste disposal business to reduce food waste, developed RFID-based volume-rate system of food waste, and has installed and operates over 20,000 units nationally.
Ecopia introduced at this exhibition, is a RFID-based volume-rate meter of food waste, and has a convenient payment system that charges fee by measuring weight of waste, reduces food waste and recycles resources, which is suitable for apartment houses, collective housing areas, market and dense areas of restaurants.
In addition, 'Little Giant' series of food waste disposer can be easily installed in a narrow space and is economical because it can be continuously inputted anytime without accumulating garbage due to rapid decomposition.
Park Hyangsik, head of department of sales explained, "the volume-rate equipment developed by our company has been installed and operated in 20,000 places which takes 40% of demands nationally," and "RFID-based volume-rate disposer is equipment which measures weight of waste by each household and charges fee. It is combined with ICT technology, which allows users to figure out the status of waste in real-time."

Meanwhile, ENVEX 2018 is Korea's largest environmental industrial technology and renewable energy trade exhibition, hosted by KEPA (Korea Environmental Preservation Association), and organized by KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute), KECO (Korea Environment Corporation), SLC (SUDOKWON Landfill Site Management), KEPA (Korea Environmental Preservation Association and KEIA(Korea Environmental Industry Association). The exhibition is attracting attention as the largest publicity and marketing opportunity for companies to become the leading companies in green growth.
