Pentas (CEO: Kim Seulmi) participated in 'Japan IT Week' held in Tokyo Big Sight from May 9th(Wed.) to 11th(Fri.) with support of Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and introduced the APACAR application, a platform to share or trade anything among residents of the same apartment.
APACAR, a sharing-in-apartment platform from Pentas, is an application that allows user to share or trade any items with a P2P car-sharing service as a start within the same apartment complex. The existing car-sharing service is B2C type like 'SOCAR' that companies provide cars and an individual uses it, but since APACAR supplies vehicles of residents not in use, it is possible more to realize sharing economy, and a user can pick up a car right in the same apartment complex, so users can quite conveniently use this service. Any apartment residents can use APACAR page of their apartment. APACAR also provides a service that any items can be shared and traded among residents.
Kim Seulmi, the CEO of Pentas said "we are conducting surveys on visitors to figure out which point to focus on for overseas market entry where there are not apartments as many as there are in Korea, and through these surveys, we hope to have a chance to grow to the next level."
