DHL Korea will participate in the 'BIO KOREA 2018' held at COEX from May 9th(Wed.) to 11th(Fri.) and show a 'DHL Medical Express' service, a premium delivery solution for bio-goods.

DHL Korea has launched the DHL medical express service in 2012, in order to help the national bio-industry, which rapidly grows, to enter to overseas markets. The medical express service is a DHL premium service which directly manages the whole process from pick-up to delivery, as well as pre-task handling on several regulations and issues by an exclusive team with expertise on bio-logistics. With the cold-chain solution, they deliver fast and safely products such as medicines, reagents, blood, and even medical equipment that are sensitive to time and temperature, to their destinations, and this service is well used by pharmaceutical companies, labs, hospitals, schools, and client companies.
DHL in the past had provided this cold-chain shipping service only subject to certain global companies or pharmaceutical companies, but since national medicine development has been increasing and bio-markets has been rapidly growing, they have expand their service area. Thanks to these moves, DHL will actively help a number of domestic companies to enter to overseas markets from now on, by actively introducing their medical express service, and investing fully on personnel recruitment and facility expansion.
