META BIOMED Co., Ltd participated in 'The 34th International Medical Device & Hospital Equipment Exhibition (KIMES 2018)' held at COEX from March 15 (Thu) to 18 (Sun) presented Integral Microendocsopic Epidural Catheter and iDOLTHIN-S.
iDOLTHIN-S is Integral Microendocsopic Epidural Catheter. Generally, disposable catheters are used to inject drugs to relieve pain in the epidural space. Micro camera is added here. Using this, it is possible to visually check the lesion site which causes the back pain in the human body such as the body cavity, and then the medicine can be injected exactly. In some cases, a laser or a high-frequency plasma fiber may be inserted into iDOLTHIN-S and applied to back pain caused by disc protrusion or the like.
In addition, it has a resolution four times higher than that of the same type of camera and developed as a disposable one, so that it can be applied to various medical fields and can be applied without fear of bacterial infection. The View Box, which is an image process, also has the advantage of being portable because it runs on USB power.
