Dongseo Medicare have participated 'The 34th Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (hereinafter referred to as, KIMES 2018)' from Mar. 15th (Thu) to 18th (Sun) and presented Medical Heat Stimulator and High Frequency Heat Cancer Treatment Device
Dongseo Medicare, which celebrates its 24th anniversary, is a medical specialized company focusing on women's health care. Dongseo Medicare recently developed and manufactured medical thermal stimulator and high frequency thermal cancer therapy machine.
The high frequency heater is a therapeutic device that uses the electrical characteristics of cancer cells to necrosis cancer cells by heating them up to 42°C in high frequency from the generator. In particular, it is known to maximize its effectiveness when combined with surgical operations, radiation treatment and chemotherapy, which are called the standard treatments for cancer treatments.
The product is expected to be highly responsive to the market as this product is not only capable of making equipment more capable in many ways, but also more convenient for both the patient and the user.
First, it is equipped with a 10.4 inch LCD touch monitor that synchronizes with the computer on which patient information is stored, and eliminates unnecessary movement for the management of patients and treatments. In addition, it is convenient to use the touch panel monitor to control the therapy time and high frequency output control.
It consists of an All in One system with a built-in generator and a cooling module inside the body, and the arm that moves the electrode can also be freely manipulated up to a 4-way 160 degree angle with one-touch power movement.
It is also the first medical high frequency heater in Korea to be certified for product safety with IEC 60601-1, 3.1 editions. This means that safety has been guaranteed in tests on electrical and mechanical safety. IEC 60601-1 and 3.1 editions are part of the certification test, which is enhanced by the inclusion of certification standards, such as EM, radiation defense, usability, alarm systems, environmental design, and ergonomic controls, as compared to the previous two editions.
On the other hand, KIMES is Korea's largest medical equipment and hospital facility exhibition which has grown steadily with the development of the Korean medical industry since its opening in 1980. The nation`s medical industry is now transformed into a technology-intensive high-tech industry, with medical information systems, ultrasound detectors and imaging medical devices, robotic medicine, AI and rehabilitation drugs. As KIMES contributes to the advancement of the Korean medical industry, it has become a world-class medical exhibition. At this exhibition, the participants will showcase new technologies and products from the medical industry, including high-tech hospital facilities, IT-enabled medical information systems, and the automotive industry for rapid patient transportation.
