'HOBB' has participated in the global Start-Up exhibition '4YFN' that was jointly held with 'MWC 2018' as Smart Venture Campus Joint Booth, and was selected as 'best of mik @ 4YFN'.
'best of mik @ 4YFN' is the one that have selected the promising company among the participating companies in 4YFN, and the selected companies have opportunity to do press pitching with foreign journalists from United States, China, Germany and others in MWC 2018, and furthermore, they will be the Top3 that global media selects.
HOBB is a company that provides a service to narrow the gap with arts. The company provides a service for the users to have less feeling of distance and have fun easily by using virtual reality such as VR, and AR, and hologram. VR selfie, introduced at this exhibition, is the service that users can take a selfie in a virtual reality space through VR experience. It is possible to take a new type of selfie that has never been taken before while admiring a work of art, which can entertain the users. It is also possible to share on SNS, so the users can fully enjoy the system.
Baek Ho-am, CEO of HOBB said "my role model is Google Arts & Culture system" and "I'd like to provide a view service in various aspects by applying new technologies like Google." He subsequently mentioned "I'd like to go into a partnership with 'Cultural Institute of Google'" and "I'd like to provide a platform-based service in a new type in connection with them, since all the technical products, works of art, and VR are getting archived." He also mentioned "I'd like to incorporate our service into art in other forms such as performances, concerts, and musicals besides art exhibitions in the future."
On the other hand, the Smart Venture Campus, which is in the process of supporting companies, runs a variety of projects to discover and nurture talented young CEOs and specialists in the areas of apps, web, contents, SW, and convergence. It also helps promote the start-up of a pre-founder with a creative identity and actively supports the growth of early-start companies. The 4YFN also plans to actively support top domestic companies.
