"CES(Consumer Electronics Show) 2018 Media Days" event was opened today (January 7, 2018 in local time) in Las Vegas, USA before the main event, CES 2018 which is the world's biggest IT electronics exhibition.
Jill Gilbert explained, "an ultra-personalization era has come regarding the digital healthcare." He said, "it has become possible to have a DNA test performed in homes and that people with mental diseases are presently treated from a distance through telemedicine system." He also added, "the potential factors for diseases can be analyzed and cerebral apoplexy or heart failure can be anticipated."
He said, "presently medical results can be obtained quicker through better diagnoses" while emphasizing the patient-oriented healthcare. He also anticipated "from now on software will substitute for the medicines." He said, "we will see the arrival of VR which controls the patient's pain as well as the arrival of wearable devices which reduce the necessary amount of chemical medicines and which eliminate addiction and dependence on medicinal substances."
CES, the world's largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition of trends in the global consumer electronics industry, held annually in January by the American Consumer Technology Association (CTA).
