The 84th TOKYO INTERNATIONAL Gift Show 2017)', will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from Sep 6th(Wed) to 8th(Fri), where international design and character animation trends were shown, with great number of prospective companies participants.
The prospective character animation companies on focus are Clockhouse, Gabia, SweetMoster and Electural.
'Nun Gaar Gaar', that is always pleasantly laughing, is the character produced by animation studio Clockhouse. Clockhouse used the flagship characters and introduced them to exhibitors by applying it to various accessories.
Officials of the company said, "We would like to meet local exhibitors as much as possible through Tokyo Gift Show, and wish to obtain opportunity to enter into Japanese character market".
Gabia, has introduced unique character 'Amoo' that can change into anything.
Officials of the company said, "We wish to meet many buyers through this exhibition, and we wish to proceed further with meetings and contracts".
In addition, Gabia introduced a variety of products ranging from dolls using the character 'Amoo' to daily necessities and introduced them to exhibitors.
SweetMonster, that is famous for its F&B business such as pop-corns and ice-cream, has introduced various products in this exhibition. It has exhibited a ballpoint pen with a charming character as well as a puff aimed at women.
Officials of the company said, "Currently, SweetMonster is entering into overseas market in earnest" and added, "We have entered this exhibition to enter into Japanese market, in earnest".
In this exhibition, Electural has introduced 'ThumThum' character that has imaged thumb, and various products that has applied this.
Officials of the company said, "We exhibited products that have been loved by consumers, such as cell phone cases, pouches, and key chains", and added, "We wish Japan's unique thrum character ThumThum to receive a lot of love as well".
Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as KCA) announced that it will actively support local design, character animation companies' product and technology display and overseas market opening by running a joint exhibition at 2017 Tokyo Gift Show.
