The Bagel Square is a versatile dimensioning tool that combines a digital tape measure and a laser distance meter.
Its five-meter-long metal tape pulls out just like any tape measure does, but with a widescreen digital display that reads the measurement for you. When that's not enough, you can simply flick into laser mode and measure space up to thirty meters. But to truly capture space, size is not enough. The Bagel Square utilizes its 9-axis motion sensor to analyze the direction of each measurement and record it as a vector. And of course, it connects seamlessly to its mobile app where you can view and share your dimensions as well as directions.
The Bagel Square is set to be launched through a crowdfunding campaign in October and manufacturing to start in November 2017.
Meanwhile, Bagel Labs is a South Korean startup dedicated to innovating the way people measure size. Bagel Labs' previous project was the Bagel smart tape measure that raised over $1.9 million through Kickstarter and Indiegogo crowdfunding in 2016.
Bagel Labs' current project is the Bagel Square, a smart tape measure that that enables users to seamlessly measure the size of anything with ease. By clicking a button, users can save, record and share size data via Bagel Square's user-friendly mobile app which will be available for both Android and iOS.
