[LASER EXPO 2017 Preview] WikiOptics Will Show Products of Laser Source with The Wikistar Brand

WikiOptics (Rep. Boo-Bin Yim) will introduce laser engine, LD Module and 8 channel LD driver with Wikistar brand at 'International LASER EXPO 2017' which will be held at 'KINTEX' from 27th to 29th of June.

WWikistar laser engine is an optical module that uses RGB laser diode as light source to realize various colors. There are three types of light sources. "Mars" is a light source that emits parallel light, "Venus" is a light source combined with a single mode optical fiber, and "Mercury" is a light source combined with an illuminating optical fiber.

These light engines can respond to various customer requirements by using Red(638nm), Green(520nm) and Blue(450nm) laser diodes, and can control the power of individual light sources by LD driver and PC interface. In addition, we have also released the LD modules of Mars638, Mars520, and Mars450 that use only one wavelength. Outputs can be from several mW to hundreds of mW. The LD Module features compact size, low power consumption and stable output. It can be used for

various applications such as Display, entertainment, indoor mood lighting, wearable device, sensing, Medical/bio.

The WikiStar 8ch LD driver, released together with this, can utilize the light sources of multiple laser engines interlocked.

It performs ACC / APC with PC and USB interface and can drive PWM of laser diode by its own signal generation.

The optics using laser diode such as the optical pickups for data storage and the pico-projector engine is the field we have strong competitiveness.
