Study platform specialized company DM-EDU has launched an animation language study platform 'AniLingo' in App Store and Google Play Store.
AniLingo offers three languages, English, Chinese and Japanese, in over 40,000 animations. Since there are various contents, from basic words to vocabularies for tests, grammar and conversations, users can choose and study according to their level. In addition, all contents have 'listening modes', which were recorded by native speakers, providing native pronunciations.
AniLingo's study method is based on Leitner System, that is, familiar things are shown lesser and unfamiliar things are shown more. It also has a review system that utilizes Ebbinghaus' Forgetting Curve. In addition, according to the 'Dual Coding Theory', it is much better to study with image and sound at the same time than simply studying with texts, and thus AniLingo has combined the advantages of animation with flash car learning method.
'Vulnerable cards', which are automatically organized by analyzing learners' wrong answer patterns, is also a core function of AniLingo. As the period of use becomes longer, the record of wrong answers becomes a treasure note for learners since it cannot be obtained anywhere else.
Also, DM-EDU's AniLingo supports 'AniLingo Class' modes for the use of private institutions and schools. 'AniLingo Class' is a function that teachers and parents can easily examine and manage students' learning statistics.
Meanwhile, EM-EDU has constantly improved its algorithm based on the total of 500,000 testers and its continuous feedbacks. In addition, recognized with its learning effect, it has received the Grand Prize of Korean Patents in 2015 and the English Award of Mobile Award in 2017.
