BMW Concessionaires Limited(Macau) participated in '2017 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition(2017 MIECF) held at Venetian Resort in Macau for three days from March 30th to April 1st, exhibiting 'BMW i3 94Ah', which upgraded the electric car i3's battery capacity and efficiency.
'BMW i3 94Ah' has a capacity of 33kWh and a 94Ah Lithium-ion battery, and the distance that it can travel has increased by about 50% compared with the previous model. Thanks to the improved battery efficiency, it is possible to travel up to 200km with only one charge depending on the usage of the heating and cooling.
The new i3 has a three-year free concierge service that connects to the BMW call center with just one button while driving, and sends the address of the desired location to the navigation system. This service also provides convenience for the drivers by directly sending to the car navigation system the address of the places where the drivers want to go, including the nearest electric car charging station.
The i3 94Ah, with its increased battery capacity, is launched in two trim versions. Both of them retain the advanced options that were applied to the existing i3. The 'Life Module', a boarding space made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic(CFRP), and the configuration of 'Drive Module' and the only rear-wheel drive system of electric car for driving power such as BMW e Drive are also applied, so you can fully enjoy the pleasure of real driving pursued by BMW.
