Ericsson was selected as one of the Best of MWC 2017 Top5, which selected the best companies and products in 'MWC2017' held from February 28th to March 2nd.

Ericsson is a Swedish communications equipment manufacturer. As a global provider of mobile communications equipment, 40 percent of the world's wireless traffic was transmitted through Ericsson's communications equipment (2010 standards).
Ericsson's booth was designed with the concept of '5G'. '5G' demonstration within the Ericsson booth. You can actually drive a car that is more than 50 km away from the Barcelona exhibition hall through a 5G network.
Ericsson and Teleno Myanmar's Pure Solar Myanmar were selected in the 'Green Mobile Awards' category of '2017 Global Mobile Awards' by GSMA, the organizer of MWC. As a result, many industry representatives visited the booths that were decorated in an environmentally friendly manner.

At the Ericsson Press Conference, Mr. Ray, the US CTO of T Mobile, a US partner for Ericsson, mentioned that he expects the 5G era to take off in earnest from 2020. Also, Mr. Henriksson, CEO of SCANIA, a partner of Ericsson, claimed that they were able to provide customers with more efficient services as 250,000 SCANIA trucks were all connected to the network.
Meanwhile, 'Mobile World Congress 2017' was held from February 27th to March 2nd at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona under the theme 'Mobile: The Next Element'. Innovative products, services and technologies that embody the mobile ecosystem were all in one place.
The global news network Aving News, which has delivered the most number of news issues from CES, MWC and IFA, the world's top three tech exhibitions over the past decade, also sent a special report team to the MWC to report on major issues in the market.
