X-Engineering is participating 'MWC 2017', which will be held in Barcelona, Spain from February 27 to March 2 as a co-management of K-ICT Device Lab, and launches 'Spend Wallet', a smart wallet.
X-Engineering is a technician-based FinTech loT startup, and has applied for a total of four patents. X-Engineering is preparing for mass production of 'Spend Wallet', a loT-type smart wallet, made with X Payment Solution. It was launched in May last year through Indiegogo, a crowd funding site, and collected more than 160 million won in funds, an amount that shows a greater demand from consumers.
Spend Wallet and X Payment Solution are highly versatile. They can be used magnetic card readers that are currently used, without changing the existing payment infrastructure into card readers that support NFC by using a large amount of money. A self-developed MFE technology of Smart Wallet generates a magnetic field, and transmits the same signal as that of using a regular card, so that you can make payments easily with a touch anywhere and anytime.
Since it is a non-contact solution, it can be changed into various forms and has high compatibility. In addition, it also has high security. Information is safe because it stores encrypted temporary card information.
Kang, Min-Goo, a representative of X-Engineering said "The potential customers are wearable device manufacturers and fashion companies. Since there are many foreign corporations in this field, we will continue to participate in large foreign exhibitions such as MWC to promote our technology and establish a network with potential customers to form a partnership."
The global news network Aving News, which has delivered the most number of news issues from CES, MWC and IFA, the world's top three tech exhibitions over the past decade, will also send a special report team to the MWC to report on major issues in the market. Also, as part of the 'MADE IN KOREA & MADE BY KOREA' project, we will find companies from Korea that participate in the exhibition and introduce them to the world.
