SEYOUNG CORPORATION (SEC) (CEO, Lee Se Young) took part in 'CES 2017 (Consumer Technology Show)' that is the world's largest IT consumer electronics and consumer technology tradeshow held in Las Vegas, the United States from January 5th to January 8th for part of 'Local Convergence Sports Industry Base Development Project,' held by a support from Daegu Metropolitan City (Daegu Sports Convergence Industry Support Center) as Daegu Common Facility of the Sports Convergence Industry Support Center of Daegu Technopark and exhibited a portable two-way radio wireless transceiver, 'WiWi.'
SEYOUNG CORPORATION (SEC)'s 'WiWi,' is a portable two-way radio wireless transceiver. Users only talk with others through the existing radio transceivers in order, whereas WiWi users can do so as if they were talking on the phone. This product plans to be released in February of this year and is equipped with an inner speaker, so users don't need an ear set. It is possible for them to wirelessly communicate with others, and the number of channels has increased to 40 for the reduction of miscommunication.
A manager of the company, Kwon Ji Young, said, "We used to sell 70% of our products to Europe. We would like to meet great buyers in this CES and enter to North America such as the U.S and Canada.
Meanwhile, Daegu Technopark and Smart Venture Institute and Smart Drone Technology Center of Kyungpook National University opened 'CES Daegu Common Facility' and supported the exhibition operation of 22 domestic enterprises and business meeting with a buyer.
CES (Consumer Technology Show), which is the world's largest IT consumer electronics and consumer technology tradeshow, is a good opportunity to figure out the flow of the global electronic industry at a glance and is held on every January by CTA (Consumer Technology Association).
