Evain (CEO Young Joong Yoon, www.evain.com) participated in China Hi-Tech Fair 2016, which is held at Shenzhen Exhibition and Convention Center in Guangdong Province, China from November 16th(Wednesday) to November 21th (Monday), and showcased 'Moya Calling' which is the application that prevents a spam call.
'Moya Calling' that had been introduced at Gwang-Ju booth in China Hi-Tech Fair is an application that is used by ten million smartphone users with an ultimate goal of preventing any spam calls. Utilizing the information collected by group of its app users and internet searches, this app is specifically designed to provide the users in real time with the information on the calls that had not been registered at their smartphone before.
From the very start, Evain began with a motto 'valuable life' in order to develop an application that becomes useful to the users. Thus, the company put emphasis on strictly customer-based service and to develop an application with necessary and simple functions so that uses may find it favorable.
Young Joong Yoon, CEO from Evain, said "our company's filtering app service for spam calls was the first to be launched in South Korea where none like our service had existed at that point. As other major corporations are also gradually beginning to launch the similar service, our app service has become the must-have app for smartphone users. To be the world leading service, we are conducting a market research through China Hi-Tech Fair.
Evain is a startup company originated from the Promotion Project for Social Entrepreneurs that was promoted by Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency and Gwang-Ju NGO in 2012. Evain had also been appointed as a prospective social enterprise from Gwang-Ju in 2013.
In addition, 'Moya Calling' signed an agreement with SK Telecom in 2013 and has since been providing its service for preventing spam calls to "T telephone" which is safe call service. It has also won the first prize on startup launching sector from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning in 2014.
