Maman Gateau(www.mamangt.com) introduced its fresh caramel and caramel roll cakes at Coex Food Week 2016, which runs Nov. 2-5 at COEX.
The company name Maman Gateau means the cake mother makes. The owner Pi Yoon-jung is a baking specialist trained at Le Cordon Bleu, and she made the brand in 2007. Maman Gateau runs three businesses, bakery supply, baking academy, and bread & dessert cafe.
Its signature product is a high-quality fresh caramel made with 100% dairy cream, milk butter, and natural powder. There are no artificial ingredients like food additive, artificial color, or preservative added. It comes in flavors like earl grey, matcha, kinako, raspberry, and lime.
Caramel roll cake is made with almond bisque and organic muscovado sugar. Four kinds of fresh caramel sauce and 100% pure milk cream are added for delectable taste.
