Samyang Corporation(www.qone.co.kr) introduced its sweeteners made with allulose at Coex Food Week 2016, which ran Nov. 2-5 at COEX.
Samyang's integrated food products brand Q1 launched a new kind of sweeetner "Allulose" made with Samyang's special enzyme producing technology. It is a special type of sugar that can be found in small quantities in figs and grapes.
It has 0 calorie, has 70% sweetness of sugar, and prevents the body from storing fat. It comes in syrup and powder form for diversity of usage.
It is a perfect alternative to sugar in baking, and can be added in beverages and yogurt. It improves the texture and delays the melting speed in frozen yogurts, and can increase creaminess when used in dairy products.
Q1 is one of the most preferred brands of sugar, starch, flour, vegetable oil, and homemade packages in Korea.
