Hosted by MOTIE and MSIP and organized by KOTRA and KINTEX, GMV 2016 will be running Oct 6-8 at KINTEX 2 Hall 7. GMV 2016 is Korea's largest entrance to the global market for mobile and IT technology.
On its ninth run, geared with its extensive experience and analysis of the latest mobile technology trends, GMV 2016 is expected to become the partner that creates the future value for the Korean companies. Two-hundred forty companies are exhibiting this year, with 500 buyers from all over the world as the support in full force for global entry providing customized export consultation sessions.
GMV started as an export consultation show in 2008, and has flourished to its current state by including international conference, customized consultation, and startup presentation, backed up by a strong demand for the show and rave reviews from foreign buyers.
In this year's GMV Conference, a special speech will be given by Vice President Amol Mitra on the topic of mobile, and panel discussion run by the specialists in paradigm shift, web intelligence, big data, and smart wearables will be conducted to present some of the most viable business strategies for mobile innovation and expansion and successful business cases.
With the Managing Director of KT Infrastructure R&D Center Lee Jong-sik starting the conference with the lecture titled "Paving The Road To 5G", other intellect-triggering lectures like "Hyper-Connected Society" and "Digital Disruption" will be given, living up to the show's status in the mobile industry.
Last year's GMV that exhibited products and technologies of 250 companies had successfully garnered over 10,000 B2B visitors and buyers from 250 companies from 61 countries.
