uPrism showcased Curix, its real-time video conference solution at Connect.W, which runs Nov. 19-21. Through Curix, users can share documents, pictures, video, and desktop, enabling remote conference.
This solution is compatible with most video conferencing devices, including Android and IoS Ip Phones, polycam.
A spokesperson for uPrism said, "There was a financial company stationed in Southeast Asia that was interested in our system. In Southeast Asia, where some of the countries are made up of many islands, thus making it difficult for the people there to travel to headquarters, remote video conference system like that of uPrism is necessary."
uPrism has provided its solution to over 10 major companies including LG CNS, ETRI, IBK, and KAMCO. It has installed its system to about 100 companies, public organizations, and financial groups. It has also been selected by the Korean government to conduct GigaKorea, the R&D business of giga-media based tele-experience service software platform development from 2013 for 5 years.
Connect.W is a business matching program created by KAIT(the Association for ICT Promotion) to make business connection between telecom operators around the world and ICT companies with programs like Global Telco Conference and One-on-One B2B Meetings. Participated by over 150 overseas and domestic telecom operators and ICT companies, it will be held Nov. 19-21 at DDP Art Hall located at Dongdaemun.
