DAEAN MEDICAL (CEO Noh In-gyu, www.damedi.com) showcased its multi-functional traction device "SHUMA" series at "SENDEX 2015" (Seniors & People with Disabilities Expo), which runs for three days from Thursday the 5th to Saturday the 7th at KINTEX.
The SHUMA Cervical Traction Device comes in DA-100 (a doorframe type) and DA-1200 (an instrument type), and it is for those who have herniated cervical disks or straight necks. When one uses this product, the herniated disk can return to its original place, through the contraction and relaxation of the upper elastic band.
With the Lumbar Traction Device, users can use their weight for vertical traction exercises. The device helps disk recovery by naturally increasing vertebral space, and it is also effective in strengthening muscles.
The SHUMA Electric Gait Training Device evens out vertebral space through traction exercises. One can also simultaneously use a treadmill. With assisting equipment, users can use their hands freely in a correct posture.
Also, the company showcased an adult walker that helps with rehabilitation and gait training. Another device simultaneously helps patients with gait training and strength in standing.
The 11th "SENDEX 2015", the largest welfare exhibition in the country, is an event for seniors and people with disabilities. The exhibition acquired international certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It provides various and specialized information about healthcare products, senior-friendly goods, assisting equipment, bathing products, post-retirement plans, emigration, and funerals for 7 million seniors and 13 million baby boomers.
