Wettrust Korea (CEO Bang Ji-hwan, www.wettrustkorea.com) showcased its "Inner-感", a hypoallergenic, transparent feminine wash, at the 7th K-BEAUTY EXPO 2015, which runs for three days from Tuesday the 17th to Sunday the 20th at KINTEX in Ilsan.
Wettrust Korea's "Inner-感" received the gold medal from Vietnam Plus, Vietnam's most comprehensive news website, at K-BEAUTY 2015 Editor's Choice Awards on Sept. 19.
"Inner-感" uses disposable containers. Users can always apply the same amount exactly where they want to. The containers are made of ABS resin, with soft and streamlined design. Thus, even women with sensitive skin can comfortably use this product.
In addition, the container's content activates bacteria that benefit the vaginal area. The product keeps the vaginal area slightly acidic (pH3.5-5.5), as it contains lactic acid which helps reduce harmful bacteria and their growth.
The vagina naturally purifies and cleans itself to protect against harmful bacteria. Döederlein's bacillus, a beneficial bacteria in the vagina, produces lactic acid to keep the vagina slightly acidic, and prevent harmful bacteria from entering. The company said it used this fact to develop "Inner-感", which keeps the vagina clean and healthy by strengthening the immune system.
K-Beauty has the most domestic beauty-related companies. This year, the exhibition showed an upgraded beauty industry in the global market, with ALIBABA Group, China's largest e-commerce company, and SASA Cosmetics, one of Hong Kong's top 10 cosmetics distributors, taking part.
At the K-Beauty Editor's Choice Awards, run by Aving News, products that received the highest scores were selected and honored. A total of six companies, including Female Daily (femaledaily.com), Indonesia's top online beauty portal; MyFatPocket (www.myfatpocket.com), Singapore's representative beauty blog; Vietnam Plus (www.vietnamplus.vn), Vietnam's most comprehensive news website; PCLady (www.pclady.com.cn), China's No. 1 shopping mall for women; China WANG (china.com.cn), China's 24-hour news media; and Aving News (kr.aving.net), Korea's No. 1 media organization specializing in exhibitions, participated in the event as judges. They also examined the products through coverage by beauty reporters.
This year, a total of 18 companies won awards, and they will have an opportunity to be introduced to foreign media. The award-winning companies are as follows:
