MEDIKORS (CEO Yoon Gwi-young) participated in the 39th Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2024), held at COEX in Seoul from March 14th (Thursday) to 17th (Sunday).

MEDIKORS, a domestic company known for its first-of-its-kind 108μm (micrometer)-level DXA research-grade bone density and body composition analyzer 'InAlyzer,' has been recognized for its outstanding technical capabilities by major research institutions and university hospitals both domestically and internationally. It has also achieved a significant milestone by being adopted as equipment for biomedical research in space environments by NASA.

At this exhibition, MEDIKORS unveiled its fan beam DXA bone density measurement device 'InAlyzer AIR,' featuring 64 channels of 'True Fan Beam' imaging that supports high-resolution RAW and BMD image capture.

This feature reflects the industry trend of moving from pencil beam to fan beam, ensuring high-quality images to support precise ROI settings by medical professionals. According to company officials, it also effectively meets the demand for premium products dominating the global market.

Images obtained through InAlyzer AIR can be displayed along with measurement results linked to PACS within hospitals, and the device provides intuitive software with various diagnostic tools. It also boasts features such as rapid scan speed of just 30 seconds, simplified open design, and minimized specifications, enhancing convenience for medical professionals and patients.

MEDIKORS is expanding its domestic distribution channels for its flagship products, the InAlyzer series and the body temperature diagnostic device 'innerVue3,' to increase sales volume. Internationally, it continues to experience growth in markets such as the United States, Japan, and Europe, where there is strong demand for premium products in medically advanced countries. It also emphasized that inquiries from buyers in various countries are being generated, highlighting its performance and functionality comparable to other products in the market while attracting interest with reasonable pricing.

A company official stated, "In particular, MEDIKORS has attracted interest from buyers in the Middle East, a new market, in the InAlyzer series. They also seem to appreciate our products' brand value as high-spec, premium products." They added, "As many Middle Eastern market representatives are expected to visit the KIMES venue, we will actively seek market entry through proactive meetings with them."

Furthermore, MEDIKORS plans to accelerate the development of low- to mid-priced models to be launched as part of the InAlyzer series, aiming to establish a foothold for entry into underdeveloped countries. The company will diversify its product lineup by releasing compact-sized models with specifications different from existing InAlyzer models. This is part of its goal to expand its brand influence in the Asian market, from domestic medical clinics to countries such as Vietnam, China, and India.

KIMES has steadily grown as a specialized exhibition for medical devices and hospital facilities, starting its first exhibition in 1980 and developing the Korean medical industry. Over the years, the domestic medical industry has transformed into a technology-intensive advanced sector, including medical information systems, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, medical imaging equipment, medical robotics, AI, and rehabilitation medicine.
