MTEG participated in the 36th KoreaInternational Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2021) which runsMar. 18-21 to showcase a state-of-the-art system that AI self-learns aftercollecting and analyzing medical videos.
MTEG is a company that collects andanalyzes medical videos, and then AI learns by itself and converts the videointo meaningful data, and contributes to intelligence research on surgicalvideos.
Lee Jin-woo, the head of MTEG ServiceBusiness Team, said, “MTEG’s medical video archiving system VACS is composed ofSurgBox server or the cloud solution SurgStory that collects video from surgeryroom or endoscopy room.
He then said, “SurgBox automatically savesvarious medical images from laparoscopic endoscopy and ultrasonic headcams, andsimultaneously transmits them to a server or cloud. Also, SurgStory is asolution that operates on a server cloud system, and it provides variousfunctions to manage and utilize videos."
KIMES is Korea's largest medical andhospital equipment show that has made steady growth with the development of theKorean medical industry, starting from its first in 1980.
