KBS revealed The World First Terrestrial Broadcasting 4K UHDTV at the 23rd Korea International Broadcast, Audio & Lighting Equipment Show held at COEX from May 13th to 16th.
It is differentiated from other 4K UHDTVs, using Gwanaksan transmitting station as a channel. The future goal of KBS is applying the technology to broadcast Asian Games Incheon 2014 and Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic(8K).

At HD virtual studio, visitors can take a picture with a background image from KBS TV programs such as '2 Days and 1 Night', 'The God of Work' and 'Hutos'.
A motion control camera and and a gyro sensor are used, people can change the background image with their gestures. And pictures taken there are able to be printed or sent to a mobile phone.

In addition, KBS are providing comprehensive information about broadcasting and Smart trends with N-screen Service, Closed Caption Correction System, Smart Link TV Service System, Smart DMB, Network Information System, Digital Broadcasting RF Analysis System, Character Sign Language System, Real-time Broadcasting Integration Analysis System, Player K, iCon Service, KBS Photo Digital Kiosk, KoreaView Service, Reception Environment Improvement, Digital Radio Demonstration and Interactive HD Virtual Studio.
Player K is an available N-screen service for watching TV programs without any chip or additional tool. Compared to DMB, it just needs internet connection to watch TV shows. People can watch live TV shows and VOD. Also, they can check which programs will be on air or buy something at K content shop.
As N-screen Service, Real-time Synchronization 'TVzine', Customized Content Provider 'Connected-View' and 'Multi-View' are being developed.
