'IT EXPO BUSAN 2012' the largest IT exhibition in Southeast Asia area, opened on the Sep. 6th.
This year's exhibition has the largest scale with 225 companies and 688 booths including representative IT companies at home and abroad such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, KT, Microsoft (MS), and LG CNS and promising small/venture businesses, which surpasses the last year's scale of 201 companies and 651 booths.
The 'Cloud' technology, emerging as a trend of global IT industry, will be introduced in priority at this event. The latest technology of domestic and foreign companies leading the Cloud industry such as MS Windows, Hancom Inc., Google apps will be presented including the vData Center of LG CNS, the Cloud data center under construction in Mieum-san-dan, Busan. Samsung Electronics will exhibit the latest Smart devices such as Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note and LG Electronics will introduce their new products such as 3D TV and Optimus.
For the companies in Busan, Samyoung ENC, D&D, Jangsan IT, and TimeTech will introduce shipbuilding and maritime IT converging technology products and the developers in Busan mobile app center will also participate in presenting their application for Smart phones. Related universities such as Dong-Eui University, Youngsan University, Dong-myung University will have their own booth to introduce the result of their collaboration with regional IT companies.
Marketing support events such as skull session for domestic and foreign buyers will be held along with the product exhibition. Last year, there were 589 buyers at home and abroad came to the exhibition and the total of 2,494 business counseling were made, leading up to over 19.3 billion contract. Various events such as Smart & Cloud Conference will be held along with mobile career fair, which will offer a good opportunity for those looking for jobs in related field.
